The Heritage Centre is set on a meander loop of the River Arun, a mile from the historic town of Arundel. The valley rises up behind the centre and footpaths take you into the gentle hills of the South Downs. The partly wooded gardens are carpeted by snowdrops in spring and the veranda provides welcome shade on summer days.

A riverside footpath takes you into the centre of Arundel with a 30 minute stroll, allowing you to enjoy magnificent views of the castle, cathedral and hills. The coast at Littlehampton and Climping is a short 10 minute drive away
